Coco is a Latin American animated film directed by Lee Anchorage and Adrian Molina. It draws heavily on Mexican folklore and traditional designs, and has catchy music, a complex but comprehensible plot, and bits of domestic comedy and media satire（n.讽刺，讥讽）.

《寻梦环游记》是由李·昂克里奇，阿德里安·莫利纳执导的拉丁美洲动画电影，该篇大量借鉴了墨西哥民间传说和传统设计，音乐朗朗上口，情节复杂但易于理解，还有一些墨西哥国内喜剧和媒体讽刺。

The movie mainly tells the story: Despite his family’s baffling（adj.令人困惑的）generations-old ban on music, Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster（n.骗子；魔术师）Hector, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

电影主要讲述了：尽管家族几代人对音乐的禁令令人费解，但米格尔仍梦想成为像他的偶像埃内斯托·德拉克鲁兹那样有成就的音乐家。当米格尔不顾一切地想要证明自己的才能时，他发现自己在一连串神秘的事件之后来到了令人惊叹的五彩缤纷的死亡之地。一路上，他遇到了迷人的骗子赫克托，他们一起开启了一段非凡的旅程，揭开了米格尔家族历史背后的真实故事。

Coco captures the themes of Life and Death, with genuine feeling. The animation is impressive capturing the magic of Mexico and día de muertos, with colorful cinematography and tremendous characters. Themes of family, passion, defeat and redemption also are explored here, but with humor & real emotion. This is a true fantasy-adventure, that gives life and death true meaning.

The film’s understanding of death is impressive. "The real death is when no one in the world remembers you." This is the definition of death in the film. The film visualizes death through the double world of the dead and the reality, conveying that death is not the destruction of the body, but the disappearance of the spirit. It gives us a new definition of death—the forgotten will die, and only the remembered can live forever.
